What surface Can Wax be used on?

November 27th, 2007 by admin

There is no end for cleaner wax, you can use a cleaner wax on multiple surfaces from counter tops all the way to glass windows.  The first thing to know about using a cleaner was is to make sure the cleaner wax has some good cleaning lubricants in it to protect your surface from scratches well applying the wax.  Second thing to look for when applying wax to a surface is to see if the cleaner wax you choose is a high quality hard wax that will protect the surface and not absorb into the surface and damage it.  Third thing to look at when adding a wax to your surface is to make sure that the surface may it be a table or a peace of furniture, make sure that the material is not-porous,  with a porous surface the wax will sit in the rough feeling surface and not allow you to wipe the carnauba out of the porous surface,  always make sure the surface is smooth.
A good cleaning wax will help protect any surface for years to come well cleaning it at the same time.

Why have car wax in an Aerosol can?
November 17th, 2007 by admin

Car wax is not very fun to apply to your car.  If you want to have a great finish that will protect your car, hot rod, motorcyle or what every you are waxing you want to use a great product that will help protect it, in this case you would want to use carnauba wax which will last long then normal car polishes do to a higher melting point.   So most Carnauba waxes that you will find to place on your car will come in a paste form, which can be hard to apply at times.  By liquify carnauba and adding in some great lubricants, aerosol makes it much easer to apply the carnauba wax.

What is the difference between car wax and car polish?
November 13th, 2007 by admin

What is car Polish?
Car Polish (Surface Oxidation Remover) removes tree sap, minor scuffmarks and scratches, swirl marks, oxidized car paints/finishes and other hazing.  Car polish is a polymer blend usually with no wax.  Car polishes can last 1 year between coats and is very durable protection for your paint.  Car polishes/waxes contain a cleaner that will leave a haze on plastic trim.  Wax begins to degrade rapidly when exposed to sunlight and then just washes off in the car wash or in the rain.  Fukken Wax uses a blend of wax that will protect your surface.

What is car Wax?
Wax can be applied either by hand or a polisher.  Wax is a substance that is secreted by bees and is used by them in constructing their honeycombs.  Wax helps to protect the paint, minimizing harm of chemicals and protecting the paint from fading; plus the car looks shiny.  Waxing the car after applying the polish means that you won't have to repeat the process for quite some time.  Car wax -there are two major types of car wax,.  Car wax is a natural, traditional and proven form of protection for the paint.  Car wax also provides deep and healthy shine to the paint.  Many companies manufacture car wax using cheap ingredients.  Fukken Wax cost more because of the high quality carnauba from Brazilian palms. Natural wax is derived from a substance called carnauba that is obtained from a Brazilian plant called copernica cerifera.  The carnauba wax is generally used along with petroleum distillates, naphtha and oil.  The carnauba wax provides excellent shielding to the paint and generally lasts from 30 to 60 days.  This naturally occurring carnauba wax is also used in the manufacture of floor wax, furniture wax and candy coatings.  Synthetic wax is commonly known as paint sealant.  Paint sealant or synthetic wax provides long-term protection to the paint.  The beautiful liquid shine and gloss provided by natural carnauba wax is not provided by paint sealant.  However the longevity of natural wax is less when compared to the paint sealants as the melting point of the natural wax is easily reached during warm temperature.  Natural carnauba wax is difficult to apply and remove when compared to paint sealants.  That is the reason for Fukken Wax being put into a aerosol can to make the applying process easier.
Fukken Wax Car wax is the easiest wax you will ever use.  There is nothing on the market that compares to Fukken Wax products.  Wax begins to degrade rapidly when exposed to sunlight and then just washes off in the car wash or in the rain.  Fukken Wax has added some UV protections to help your vehicles surface last longer.

Hardness of Carnauba wax?
November 10th, 2007 by admin

The strict interpretation of the word wax is: the actual substance, as in carnauba wax, beeswax or paraffin.  Wax is an organic material which is solid at room temperature, melts at a fairly low point and is not a polymer
Hardness
Melting point (about 160 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit)
Water repellence
Resistance to breakdown
Waxes are also often described by their consistency.  "There are several different grades of wax," Wemmer says. "There are hard waxes, like carnauba, and softer waxes.  When different waxes are used, they're often blended in products for ease of applications and hardness of finish."
Fukken Wax uses Carnauba wax to help protect your surface and create the best auto wax for your vehicle and easy to use.

Wax Facts

For most people, nothing finishes off a well-detailed car like a high quality finish wax, as Carnauba.  Done right, the shiny finish will instill you with the pride that comes with a job well done.
But what, exactly, is wax?  Depending on who you talk to, it's any number of things, from a specific chemical substance to a general term for anything that shines and protects a car.
The line is blurry between polishes and waxes.  Though polishes and waxes can be similar or even identical, finishing wax may differ from a finishing polish, according to most chemist.
"A true wax is simply a coating that goes on top of your surface."
"-Use Fukken Wax to protect your surface"

What is Carnauba Wax?
November 7th, 2007 by admin

Pure Carnauba
Carnauba (car-NOW-ba) is a vegetable fat obtained from the leaves of a Brazilian palm tree called the "Tree of Life"  (Copernica Cerifera).  Pure Carnauba, in its natural state, is harder than concrete.  One of its most interesting properties is that it swells and closes its pores when exposed to water.
Having a great affinity to water, Carnauba has the ability to retain oil and has excellent gloss properties making it applicable in many industries, including cosmetics, automotive and food.  In cosmetics, Carnauba is widely used in stick applications.  Carnauba is the hardest natural wax and has lustrous composition making it the leading choice for food coatings, pharmaceutical coatings and polishes.  Number One Grade Carnauba varies from a very pale yellow (white), through a greenish brown (yellow). Paint experts agree that Brazilian Carnauba is THE wax of choice for the best automotive finishes.
Fukken Wax Waterless Concepts only uses the highest grade Brazilian Carnauba.
Being a natural plant by-product that does not react with paint, Carnauba provides a very hard barrier over your car's surface to protect against airborne contaminants such as acid rain, bugs, tar, road grime, salt, and bird droppings.  Carnauba also dramatically reduces paint oxidation by diffusing (refracting) UV and infrared radiation from the sun.
