(Gynaecomastia) is an abnormal enlargement of breasts in men due to a hormonal imbaGynecomastia lance between estrogen and testosterone. The condition affects one or both breasts, sometimes asymmetrically. Nearly 30%-60% of men suffer from this.The most common cause of man boobs is transient oestrogen (female hormone) surge during puberty (11-14 years), which goes away without treatment.
