The establishment of Gyankosh Academy of Nursing & Paramedical Science for providing 4 years Degree Course in B.Sc Nursing has indeed been a mission accomplished, a dream realized, and a tryst with destiny fulfilled. To meet the demand of acute shortage of clinically trained and academically enriched, qualified nurses in India, we took up the initiative to establish the Gyankosh Academy for imparting graduate and post-graduate level nursing education such as B.Sc. nursing courses to prepare the students to assume responsibility to provide effective medical care at Hospital and Community Levels. It plays an important role in planning, organizing, and coordinating health services at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels of Health care. The Gyankosh Academy in Nursing teaches students to use evidence-based scientific and holistic knowledge to evaluate these healing modalities and coach/educate patients about them. Graduates of the program will be prepared to work as nursing school faculty members, nursing professional development specialists, or nurse coaches in integrative and holistic healthcare settings.
