Obtained his MBBS from Vinoba Bhava University, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, India and his MS in Orthopaedic from B P Koirala institute of health Science, Dharan, Nepal and worked as an Assistant Professor at same institute. Afterwards, he completed a fellowship in hand surgery from Gent university hospital, Belgium. He became am AO Spine fellow from Hong Kong and Australia, furthermore he received training in AO Scoliosis surgery from Kerala and Hand surgery and reconstructive microsurgery from Ganga hospital, India.
