Puducherry schools instructed to promote all students of Classes 1 to 9

Directorate of School Education, Puducherry has announced promotion of all students of classes 1 to 9 for the academic year 2021-22. In the notice released, the Puducherry government has asked the heads of all private and public schools of Pondicherry and Karaikal area to ‘pass’ all the students of Classes 1 to 9. Also, summer holidays for students of classes 1 to 9 would begin from April 30, 2022. In the notice, the Puducherry or Pondicherry government has instructed schools to prepare the result of all the students as per the promotion criteria (all pass) and submit the same to the respective inspectors.
